August is here and kids are back in school in the South. In the Northeast, summer is just getting into its second half which goes until Labor Day. My kids and I are still doing things like wakeboarding at the cable park, and otherwater sports. The fall soccer season has also begun.
This time of year is known for days in which the oppressive heat gives way to pop-up storms in the afternoon. In one spot it may be sunny while just a few miles away, it is pouring rain, with thunder and lightning. But it usually passes.
