A new adventure has begun for me!
I recently just starting working at WKRN, the ABC affiliate in Nashville Tennessee. I am filling in on the weekday morning show, for Justin Bruce who is taking paternity leave. Justin and the rest of the morning team have been warm and welcoming. Neil and Dawn make the otherwise brutal morning shift a lot of fun!
I have to say, this has been quite the transition! I worked at The Weather Channel for 15 years, and haven't done local news since Albany NY back in the 90s! While it is a lot of work, I have missed the local, more personable interaction. I hope to explore and learn more about the music city in the 2 months I'm here. Everyone has been so friendly, recommending all the fun things to do and great restaurants to check out. My family is still in Atlanta, but we plan lots of weekend visits...and it's just a 3 & 1/2 hour drive.
After Nashville, it's back home with more freelancing for The Weather Channel.
In the meantime, I may just pick up the guitar again!
